1:15 p.m. Understanding the soil report - what do these numbers mean anyway? – Bonnie Ball, OMAF Soil Fertility Specialist

2:15 p.m. Workshop –crop nutrient budgeting with NMAN using your soil tests, your crops and your management (see NMAN info on side)

3:00 p.m. –Adjourn

What to bring along:

Feel free to bring along laptop and tablet devices to the workshop.  There will be a brief overview of how to use NMAN (nutrient budgeting software).

To save time prior to the workshop, feel free to download NMAN by going to the website:

http://omafra.gov.on.ca

In the search box on OMAF webpage, type in “NMAN”
Click on the 1st link (should be a page entitled “NMAN software”)
Click on heading entitled “NMAN on the Web”.  First download Microsoft Silverlight, then download NMAN software.
Save download to your desktop.

For those that do not have a laptop or tablet, do not worry about it!  There will be paper material available at the workshop too.
