Education
Farms at Work offers three types of service:
- Technical assistance to develop pollinator habitat on farms or public spaces
- Educational workshops/seminars about native pollinators, habitat creation, crop pollination, or neonicotinoids geared especially to specified audiences.
- Development and delivery of Ontario high school or elementary curriculum-linked programming for Ontario schools.
Interested in these services?
Susan Chan has presented her research to over 4,000 people at dozens of workshops, conferences and agricultural events across the province, and has developed or advised on many successful pollinator plans in Ontario. She also has experience and qualifications as an educator at the elementary, highschool, and post-secondary level.
