Peterborough County Farmer Social: Saturday December 1st
1:30 coffee/registration; 2 – 5PM program; 5 - 6:30PM social and supper
You do not want to miss this first ever all-farmer event in the County!
The organizers have done everything possible to accommodate Saturday market vendors, and we know that chores need to be done - so if you have to arrive late or leave early, please attend for whatever time you can!
A hot meal is being served and it will help if you buy your tickets by Monday so that accurate numbers can be given to people making the food. Some of the food for this event is being purchased from local farms - so you are also helping to support your community!
We will:
- learn about new agricultural communication initiatives in the County
- discuss local agricultural priorities for the future, and how we can work together
- enjoy special guest speaker Dan Needles on "Land, Neighbors and the Power of Farmer Thinking"
This event is being supported by many different farming organizations that help to represent all the different types of farms we have in the County.
