East Central Farm Stewardship Collaborative (ECFSC)

What is the ECFSC?

The East Central Farm Stewardship Collaborative (ECFSC) is a network of local organizations working together to support environmental stewardship on farms across East Central Ontario. Whether you’re looking to plant windbreaks, improve water quality, or restore habitat, the ECFSC connects you with the right knowledge and funding to get it done.

Where We Work

The ECFSC partners operate across East Central Ontario, including Peterborough, Northumberland, Kawartha Lakes, Durham, and surrounding counties.

What We Offer

The ECFSC members actively support a wide variety of on-farm stewardship projects. Together and jointly, they have funded many hundreds of projects across east central Ontario.

Contact one of the partners for up-to-date information about the funding and technical assistance that is available for your project – or complete the joint Application form to reach several partners at the same time.

You can view an interactive map of selected projects completed through the East Central Farm Stewardship Fund.

Click on each of the project types below for a gallery of project photos from our partners. Other project types may also be funded. Just ask!

Protecting soil and water resources doesn’t just benefit the environment—it can improve crop yields, increase resilience, and make your farm more sustainable long-term. ECFSC makes it easier to take action with a network of support.
