Dinner and Film night at the Seasoned Spoon

Join us at the Seasoned Spoon Café at Trent University on Tuesday, November 24, from 5–8 pm for a Community Meal and Film Night.

The evening will begin with a community meal featuring food from Trent University’s Vegetable Gardens, which combine food growing with a community service focus. Farms at Work will share information about its Peterborough Community Farm project and its work to support local food and farming.

Following dinner, enjoy a screening of a short film from a series called Farming With Intention by local filmmaker Kait Howell. The screening will be followed by a conversation about the role of community gardens in strengthening local food security and food sovereignty, as well as the stories and people behind local food growing.

Come share a meal, watch a local film, and connect with others who care about community food, local farms and a more resilient regional food system.
